PMD Message Displays are used to display Alarm Messages,Operator Information and Variable Data.
The PMD Displays are equiped with a Vacuum-Fluorescent Display which offers a character Height of  5, 11 or 12,5 mm. This alows the operator to read the messages from a distance of 7 to 8 Meters, also under bad lightning conditions.

The PMD Master Displays offer an EEPROM Memory which holds the Messages.
The Messages are selected by the PLC through Data Outputs or through a serial Port.

The Slave Displays don´t save messages. The Messages are send to the Display from
a PC, a PLC or a Master Display. Messages are sent as ASCII Data or as UTICOR Hex Data. Messages are displayed until f.i. the PC sends a new message.  The Displays are network compatible. You can build a network of up to 65520 Displays. Each Display can be selected seperately.
